On 13 March 2026, our team represented Western Australia at one of the most significant events in the global clean energy calendar: the official inauguration of the Sigenergy Smart Energy Centre in Nantong, China. PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse were among the select group of installation partners, globally, invited to attend.
Not just a corporate milestone in passing. It is a moment that speaks to the culture we have earned within this business: the commitment every member of our team brings to delivering exceptional work, day after day, system after system.
The Sigenergy Smart Energy Centre
The Sigenergy Smart Energy Centre is not a conventional factory; it is a purpose-built hub combining advanced R&D, intelligent manufacturing, global delivery, and energy management under a single roof. Covering 136,000 square metres and totalling RMB 500 million (approximately AUD $110 million), the facility has an annual production capacity of more than 300,000 inverters and battery packs.
The numbers behind this facility are extraordinary. Automated welding with CCD visual inspection delivers a 99.9% yield rate. Surface-Mount Technology lines process components at a rate of 0.043 per unit per second. The facility produces one battery pack every 15 seconds and one inverter every 21 seconds. This is the manufacturing backbone that will supply PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse with Sigenergy products well into the future, at scale, with uncompromised quality.
The “AI in All” Strategy
At the launch event, Sigenergy’s founder and CEO, Tony Xu, introduced the company’s defining next chapter: an “AI in All” development strategy. Far from being a marketing phrase, this approach embeds artificial intelligence at every layer of Sigenergy’s business, from product design to system operation, energy dispatch, and user experience.
Tony Xu put it directly at the ceremony: “In the new energy sector, we never follow trends or compete on scale. Instead, we embed AI into the core of energy systems, transforming them from merely ‘functional’ to ‘intelligent, collaborative, and evolving.’”
For our customers in Western Australia, this translates into Sigenergy systems that will continue to get smarter over time — optimising energy management, adapting to grid changes, and improving performance through software and AI without requiring hardware replacement.
New Products Announced at the Event
Alongside the facility launch, Sigenergy unveiled a new generation of products spanning residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale applications:
- SigenStor Neo — an evolved home energy system with enhanced AI integration, improved home scenario adaptability, and the iconic modular architecture that has made SigenStor one of the most installed residential battery systems in Western Australia.
- 166 kW C&I PV Inverter — a new commercial and industrial inverter designed for higher power density and simplified solar-plus-storage integration for business customers.
- 500 kW Utility Inverter — a grid-scale solution supporting 1650 V DC input and 1000 V AC systems, designed to reduce system costs while improving energy yield across large solar power plants.
As an inaugural Sigenergy Gold Installer, PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse are well-positioned to bring these next-generation products to Western Australian customers as they reach Australian certification and availability.
Why Our Invitation Matters
Attendance at the Nantong launch was not open to the general industry. Sigenergy specifically extended invitations to founders, CEOs, and senior executives from its most trusted distribution and installation partners worldwide. The nearly 2,000 guests in attendance represented more than 50 countries and regions, the full breadth of Sigenergy’s global installer network.
PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse were invited to that community because we hold Sigenergy Gold Installer status, the highest non-exclusive installer tier in Sigenergy’s certification program, and one held by very few businesses in Australia. Our inclusion in this event alongside global industry leaders reflects the strength of the relationship we have built with Sigenergy since becoming inaugural Sigenergy-certified installers in Western Australia.
Sigenergy Gold Installer is the highest non-exclusive certification tier in Sigenergy’s global installer program. PSW is among a select number of Australian businesses to hold this status.
Our journey with Sigenergy in Western Australia began before SigenStor was a household name in the local market. We believed in the product early, invested in the training and technical capability to install it correctly, and built a track record of installations that now speaks for itself. Being invited to Nantong is a natural extension of that history.
To Our Team: This Is Your Achievement
Every installation our electricians complete, every service call our technical team handles, every customer conversation our sales and support staff have, all of that underpins the reputation that earned us a seat at the table in Nantong.
We operate from Bibra Lake and Neerabup, with crews working across greater Perth and the South West. The Sigenergy Gold certification that brought us to this global event is not held by the directors; it belongs to the 50+ people across our business who execute the work to the standard that makes our credentials real.
Take a moment to let that land. While other installers were reading about this event in trade publications, we were in the room.
50+ employees across Bibra Lake and Neerabup. One of the inaugural Sigenergy Gold Installers in Western Australia. Invited to Nantong among partners from 50+ countries. This is what a high-performance culture produces.
What This Means for Our Customers and Our Future
The Nantong Smart Energy Centre launch is not just a symbolic milestone for Sigenergy; it is an investment in supply chain reliability and product quality that directly benefits our customers. With annual production capacity exceeding 300,000 inverters and battery packs from a state-of-the-art facility, the supply certainty our customers need for SigenStor installations is backed by genuine manufacturing scale.
The introduction of the SigenStor Neo and Sigenergy’s “AI in All” strategy also signals where home energy storage is heading. The next generation of systems will not just store energy, they will learn, adapt, and coordinate. PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse are positioning now to bring this technology to Western Australian homes and businesses as it becomes available through Australian regulatory channels.
We are committed to continuing to invest in our people, our technical training, and our manufacturer relationships so that the quality of our installations and the partnerships behind our products remains at the level that belongs in a room with 2,000 global industry leaders.
