The 2025 Solaris Awards place PSW Energy fourth in Western Australia for solar capacity and third for battery capacity across systems below 100 kW.
Solar Nerds publishes the Solaris Awards from installation data associated with the Clean Energy Regulator certificate registry. Its current PSW Energy profile corrects an earlier battery ranking shown as second. The confirmed position is third.
| Category | WA rank | Registered capacity | Systems | Market share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solar, below 100 kW | 4th | 6,128 kW | 724 | 2.27% |
| Battery | 3rd | 10,398 kWh | 673 | 3.06% |
A volume ranking, not a verdict on workmanship
The ranking records installation volume attributed through the awards dataset. It provides a common basis for comparing registered solar and battery capacity across the market.
It does not, by itself, prove workmanship quality, customer satisfaction, safety performance, or the long-term performance of an installed system. Those questions require separate evidence such as licensing, certification, inspection records, customer outcomes, and service history.
This distinction matters. A volume award is useful when it is described as a volume award. It should not be stretched into a broader claim that the underlying data cannot support.
The operating context
PSW Energy is the McKercher group's installation and engineering arm. It delivers work associated with the group's customer channels, including Perth Solar Warehouse, under McKercher Corporation's electrical contractor licence.
The result shows sustained field capacity across both solar and batteries. It also reflects the contribution of electrical workers, apprentices, designers, schedulers, warehouse staff, customer teams, and technical leaders involved in taking a project from assessment through commissioning and support.
The people and organisation profiles explain where operational and technical accountability sits. The careers page outlines the role families and progression paths that support this work.

Registration-based datasets can be revised and may not align exactly with the date work occurred. Rankings should be read as a dated record of the published awards data.
