Sigenergy issued Product Change Notice PCN2025019 on 22 September 2025 to revise installation-distance requirements for selected Sigen Energy Gateway models.
The manufacturer states that the change updates installation guidance without changing product codes. Earlier products in the same series may also be installed in accordance with the notice.

- Sigen Gateway Home SP 12K
- Sigen Gateway HomePro SP-F
- Sigen Gateway Home SP AU
- Sigen Gateway Home TP 30K
- Sigen Gateway HomePro TP
- Sigen Gateway HomePro TP-L
- Sigen Gateway Home TP AU
- Sigen Gateway C60 AU
Installers should verify the model code on the equipment before applying a diagram.
Former 1,000 mm clearances drop to as little as 200 mm
The notice replaces several earlier 1,000 mm clearance dimensions with reduced clearances in the revised diagrams. Depending on the model and installation arrangement, the diagrams include dimensions such as:
- 300 mm above the gateway
- 200 mm at each side
- 400 mm below
- 700 mm for specified diagonal clearances
These figures should not be treated as a universal template. The exact diagram in the product change notice and the current installation manual govern the applicable model and arrangement.
Installation responsibility remains
Sigenergy states that the revision does not change safety, ingress-protection, reliability or maintenance outcomes. Installers must still confirm:
- ventilation and heat-dissipation requirements
- access for installation and maintenance
- local electrical and fire-safety requirements
- the current Australian product manual
- compatibility with the complete system configuration
Where site conditions conflict with the minimum product clearance, the installation location or design should be reconsidered rather than treating the minimum dimension as a target.
