This is a migrated record of the second PSW Energy Research Centre. The original copy placed the facility at Unit 2/44 Erceg Road, Yangebup, Western Australia, and described it as an expansion of a concept first introduced in 2016.
The stated intent was direct access to operating hardware
The centre was intended to give prospective customers direct access to operating solar modules, inverters, batteries and energy-management interfaces. The first iteration of the concept let visitors compare module construction and view selected inverter and monitoring equipment. The second went further, broadening the display to energy storage, software and connected energy systems.
The record stated that more than 20 systems were running at the facility. It named products or manufacturers including Tesla, SMA, REC, Huawei, Enphase, Jinko, SENEC, Fronius, Qcells, LG Chem, Trina, AlphaESS, GoodWe, Suntech, BYD, SAJ, LONGi, SolarEdge, JA Solar, Sungrow and Risen.
That list records what the article said was represented at the time. Nothing more. It does not establish current display inventory, supply relationships, product availability or endorsement.
Software formed part of the demonstration environment
The record put particular emphasis on the software customers used to monitor and operate energy systems. Native inverter interfaces and third-party monitoring tools were described as part of the demonstration environment.
