NETCC Approved Seller status confirmed across McKercher brands

Both PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse have renewed their certification as New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) Approved Sellers. PSW Energy holds certification valid through 13 May 2027; Perth Solar Warehouse holds certification valid through 8 May 2027. Both certificates were issued by the Code Monitoring and Compliance Panel and are authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

For the team across both businesses, this renewal reflects how sales, service, and administration functions operate day to day. The NETCC is not a certificate that sits in a drawer. It reflects conduct across every quote, contract, and customer interaction that staff handle.

NETCC Certification Covers

The New Energy Tech Consumer Code is a national conduct standard for businesses selling solar panels, battery storage, EV chargers, and related products. Signatories commit to a defined standard of behaviour across the complete customer relationship: from initial enquiry through to post-installation support. The code governs three core areas:

The NETCC was developed with input from both peak industry bodies and consumer organisations. Certification is independently verified and must be renewed. Only businesses with current, in-good-standing registration may display the Approved Seller mark.

The Group Credential Stack

McKercher Corporation holds ISO certification across the group: quality management (ISO 9001:2015), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001:2018), and environmental management (ISO 14001:2015). These certifications govern how the business operates internally.

The NETCC certifications sit alongside these as the external conduct standard, covering how both businesses behave with customers in the market. Additionally, each business is recognised as a Tesla Premium Certified Installer for 5 consecutive years and as a Sigenergy Gold Installer.

The ISO standards and the NETCC address different things. Both are independently verified. Together they represent the full picture: how the company operates, and how it behaves.

For Staff

The NETCC renewal is directly relevant to anyone in a customer-facing role across either business. The code governs what can be represented in quotes and sales conversations, how contracts are documented and presented, and how complaints and warranty claims are handled.

If a customer asks whether PSW Energy or Perth Solar Warehouse is a registered NETCC Approved Seller, the answer is yes — and that status is publicly verifiable through the code administrator’s register. Both businesses are listed as current signatories.

The standard the code sets is not new to how either team operates. What the certification does is formalise that standard and make it verifiable to customers who want to confirm it before they buy.
