NETCC Approved Seller certificates for McKercher energy businesses

PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse hold separate NETCC Approved Seller certificates, each with a published expiry date in May 2027.

NETCC Approved Seller certificates for McKercher energy businesses

PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse hold separate New Energy Tech Consumer Code Approved Seller certificates. Each names its business, records the common operating ABN and carries its own expiry date. Two documents, not one.

A certificate is evidence of status at the date shown. The NETCC Approved Seller register remains the controlling source for a seller's current standing.

Approved Sellers commit to five consumer protection areas

NETCC is an industry code authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. An Approved Seller commits to consumer protection standards in five areas:

  • sales and marketing
  • quotations and contracts
  • product delivery and installation
  • warranties and after-sales support
  • complaints and dispute handling

The code governs the seller's conduct. It does not replace electrical licensing, installer accreditation, Australian Standards, network requirements or product approval.

NETCC status is a condition of WA Residential Battery Scheme approval

Approved vendors under the WA Residential Battery Scheme must hold NETCC Approved Seller status. Industry guidance records 1 October 2025 as the date that requirement took effect.

It is one condition among several. Scheme approval also involves Plenti accreditation, a Western Australian business presence, due diligence, insurance, eligible equipment and installers who meet the scheme criteria. The WA scheme guide for retailers and installers sets those out.

The certificates do not transfer between businesses

Each certificate applies to one business: PSW Energy or Perth Solar Warehouse, not both.

The same boundary applies to ISO certification. PSW Energy holds an ISO-certified management system for the scope stated on its certificates, and that certification should not be represented as a McKercher Corporation or Perth Solar Warehouse credential. The PSW Energy ISO record identifies the certificate holder and the standards.

Primary references

Seller status can change before a certificate's printed expiry date. When current standing is material to a customer or scheme decision, the official register is the document to check, not the PDF.
